The Westmeath Senior Hurling Championship its drawing towards it concluding stages. Last year’s champions Clonkill sent out a strong signal that they are very much the team to beat with a 4-17 to 1-8 win over Castletown-Geoghegan. This puts them into the semi-final where they await the winners of St Oliver Plunkett’s and Ringtown. Raharney and Castlepollard will be contesting the second semi-final.
