Master the art of tai chi

Tai chi chuan is the perfect mix of relaxation, self-defence, and exercise.

This Chinese martial art helps you to de-stress, reduces blood pressure, strengthens joints, helps with breathing, and gives you more energy.

Tai chi classes will start in Main Street, Ballinasloe (next to Supermacs ) on Wednesday September 15 from 8pm to 9.30pm. This 12-week course will be run by Neville Watson who has trained in tai chi for some eight years with a tai chi master.

All age groups are welcome. The classes involve some twisting and turning, but no equipment is needed, just comfortable loose clothing. The class will cater for a maximum of 20 people and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
