New saver card to help Westmeath consumers find better-value deals

A saver card launched recently will enable Westmeath consumers to save hundreds of euro each year and find the best value deals within their local communities and nationwide. That’s according to Damien O’Brien, director of gosave.ie, the company behind the new ‘gosave’ saver cards.

“The way gosave cards work is very simple,” said Mr O’Brien. “Westmeath card-holders just need to look out for the gosave logo in shops and businesses around the county, indicating that they are offering gosave discounts. Alternatively, people can check out the list of subscribed businesses on the gosave.ie website. Then all they have to do is to present their gosave card to avail of a special offer or cut-price rate.

“Cards only cost ?10, and are valid for a 12-month period of unlimited use. Already, hundreds of businesses have subscribed to gosave, so this is a really good opportunity for Westmeath consumers to save some money.”

Businesses offering special discounts to consumers in Westmeath include Premaman in Mullingar and Motivation Weight Management in Athlone. Other special discounts on offer to gosave card-holders include reduced prices in a range of hotels, including the Carlton and Great National Hotel groups; special offers at a range of beauty salons, hairdressers, and barbershops throughout the country and reduced prices on consumer goods ranging from men’s and women’s clothing to bicycles, coal, and insurance.
