Tonight, Friday August 6 a band night will take place in The Bounty, Athlone in aid of Breast Cancer Research.
On the night the hugely popular Bluemoose will be playing along with other local Athlone bands, Hi -Fi Audio and Vasara.
Bluemoose played recently at the Euro festival in Athlone and received huge appreciation for their performance. All money raised on the night is going to NBCRI (National Breast Cancer Research Institute ) who focus on finding the causes of breast cancer and early detection of same. The NBCRI do not receive any State funding for the trojan work which they carry out so all fundraising proceeds are so important to the organisation.
The night is kicking off at 9pm and tickets are available from The Bounty at €10 each, or alternatively pay on the door.
