Gardai in Athlone are warning members of the public to stay away from buying electrical goods from non-legitimate sources, following break-ins to several business premises last weekend.
Laptops and other electrical equipment were stolen from three offices in Athlone over the weekend, outside of business hours.
Gardai are warning people to avoid purchasing goods from non-legitimate sources, and are advising business owners to ensure their premises are secure and that valuable equipment is not on show.
Anyone with any information in relation to the break-ins or the stolen goods is asked to contact Athlone Garda Station at (090 ) 6492600.
