Building on the success of last year, the Gigginstown Midlands National Day at Kilbeggan Races today, Friday July 16, is set to be the biggest meeting at the racecourse to date. Khan Boutique in Mullingar is sponsoring the Best Dressed at the event and will present the winner with a prize worth in excess of €2,500. This year the Khan Best Dressed will be judged by Xposé regular, Image magazine fashion contributor, and Sunday Independent beauty editor Triona McCarthy; top Irish designer Rachel Mackay; and head of news from Midlands 103, Clara Walsh.
The winner of this year’s Best Dressed Lady competition will win a prize worth €2,500 that includes a shopping spree at Khan Mullingar and Blackrock, a day spa at the luxurious Temple Spa, hair makeover at Profile Hair in Mullingar, a Jimeale New York Summer Travel Set, professional make-up consultation with Martina Coffey, dinner for two at Ilia Tapas and a VIP package to the following meeting at Kilbeggan Racecourse with overnight stay at Mullingar Park Hotel. All finalists will receive a goody bag from Jacob’s Creek.
The Gigginstown Midlands National Day will kick off at 4pm with the first race at 6pm. Finalists for the Khan Best Dressed will be selected through the event with finalists enjoying a Jacob’s Creek Sparkling Rose reception before the winner is announced and presented after the last race.
