Ford drove the Eurovision song contest stars

Ford was the official vehicle provider of the 2010 Eurovision song contest, which took place in Norway last weekend. With a fleet of 40 vehicles Ford was the exclusive transportation provider for the organising team, artists, and celebrities.

In supporting the contest, Ford took the opportunity to showcase its latest vehicle line-up, including the new S-MAX and new Galaxy, the Mondeo, the Kuga, and Transit buses. The fleet consists of vehicles, either white or black, with the Eurovision song contest logo and Share the Moment decals prominently attached on the vehicles.

Ireland’s entry ‘It’s for You’ sung by Niamh Kavanagh, who previously won the competition for Ireland in 1993 with the song ‘In Your Eyes’, reached the final but didn't get into contention on the score board.

This year 38 countries participated in the contest, which was watched by 150 million people.
