Following on from last summer’s success, the Choral Academy Ireland, fronted by Jim Maley, return to Roscommon Arts centre for Summer Singing Camp from Monday to Friday, July 5 to 9.
This five-day camp is open to young people from primary, secondary, and third level aged 10+ and runs from 10am to 4pm daily.
The aim of the Singing School is to provide a forum for young people who enjoy singing to learn and develop their talents with qualified and experienced tutors.
Singing School teaches participants to sing as part of a group in harmonies and solos and everyone gets a specialised singing lesson to cater for the individual needs of their voice. The singing lessons are designed to help you to sing and take care of the voice, which will prove invaluable wherever you go.
The week-long camp culminates in a performance on stage at Roscommon Arts centre for family and friends where each participant gets the opportunity to showcase their talent.
