The Austin Friar, Mullingar has just announced its summer entertainment plans for the coming months.
According to James of the Austin Friar they plan to hold live music in the pub part of the hotel every Wednesday and Friday night. “We’ve had a lot of people coming in to us looking for live mid week music. There just isn’t that much of it in town, and we’d be happy to cater for our customers.”
Live music starts next Wednesday May 26 with Bal Trad, a Clonmellon tradtional band, with Cherokee Chicks playing their mixture of American country and accoustic songs. Music begins at 10.30pm to late and there will be free finger food on the nights.
