Midgen, the green energy service company for the Midlands, is delighted with the success of their attendance at the Green Energy Growers’ Association stand in this year’s National Ploughing Championships. The group received an exceptional number of visitors to their stand querying how to become part of Midgen and seeking advice on how to get their own bio energy crops started. This level of interest reflects the need recognised by GEGA for a body to enable crop growers enter the rapidly growing bio energy market.
According to James Ramsbottom, agronomy director with Midgen Ltd, “The high standards of work done by Midgen over the last year have been reflected in the large volume of interested parties at this year’s National Ploughing Championships. There was also a fantastic level of interest from national media, proving just how relevant bio fuels and their production are to the public and industry.”
