PCI College is the leading provider of third level educational and continual professional development programmes for mature students in the fields of counselling and psychotherapy, in Ireland. Their offices and main teaching facilities are located in west aDublin but they also operate in Dublin City Centre, Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny, and Athlone. Personal development is a key component to what PCI College do and they offer a number of workshops for anyone to enjoy, no experience necessary. They have introduced a number of new initiatives, endeavouring to share their expertise and give back to the community.
They run a not-for-profit low cost counselling service to local communities as they believe cost should not be an obstacle to people who are in need of counselling. It costs between €5 to €15, depending on the individual circumstances. It gives people an opportunity to talk about their concerns, thoughts, or feelings, with a respectful, open, and genuine person. Counselling is provided by mature students who are undergoing professional training in counselling and psychotherapy with PCI College and are supported in their work by experienced supervisors.
Their low cost counselling service is affordable, confidential, and accessible. Counselling is the process of creating a confidential space where people can begin to heal with the support of their counsellor. It is concerned with the whole person and gives you time to talk about feelings, thoughts, and concerns. The counsellor provides a safe, confidential service that is non-judgemental and respectful. The counsellor will not give advice, direction, or solutions to problems. For more information or to arrange an appointment contact Gael Kilduff MIACP on (087 ) 6847088.
