Moate Macra na Feirme will host an open meeting at the Grand Hotel Moate at 8.30pm on Tuesday, September 30 in an effort to attract new members.
Macra would love to hear from young people aged 18 to 35 who might be looking for something to do in the evenings, whether a social night out, or just making friends.
According to local organiser Jacqueline: “There's something to do for everyone, from sports, to drama, to Saturday nights out, or just simply meeting for a drink and a chat”.
Macra na Feirme consists of a nationwide network of clubs with five key areas of activity – sport, travel, agriculture, public speaking and performing arts.
