The Prince of Wales Hotel names new head chef

The Prince of Wales Hotel is delighted to announce Paul Devoy as its new head chef for the venue and he is set to bring culinary creativity to its menus throughout the hotel and the Prince Bar.

Paul, a DIT Cathal Brugha Street graduate, has throughout his 10 year career held head chef positions with prestigious locations such as the Dublin FXB chain of steak houses and restaurants and the Glashaus Hotel in Dublin.

In his new role, he will oversee all food outlets at the hotel, including the popular carvery and evening bar food menu, as well as catering and special events and add his own flair to the menus. “Paul brings a unique culinary expertise to the hotel and our customers. He was selected as our head chef at the hotel because of his substantial experience and his creative and innovative ideas,” commented general manager, Chris Vos.

Offering a wide variety of foods to satisfy all palates, you can choose from the Prince’s breakfast menu to help you start the day, lunch options include The Deli Boutique Sandwich Bar and carvery lunch or choose from their bar evening food menu. Need some help in choosing? Then don’t miss out on the Prince Bar’s ‘Tasters’ evening from 6pm on Friday November 27, where you can sample the culinary delights from new head chef Paul Devoy, with a special wine reception. Every Friday from November 27 onwards, the Prince Bar will have a promotional guest wine for their customers to try - along with complimentary finger foods.
