Zofia Beczala from African Sun Beauty Salon in Athlone has won third place in the National Nail Competition 2009 in Dublin.
Zofia says: “We went to Dublin just to see our competitors, planning to take a part in the 2010 event. But we found out there was one last available place in the competition so we decided to go for it, and we got third place! There were only 24 hours between making the decision and taking part in the competition and winning it.”
African Sun creative director, Alexandra Nems, added: “Zofia is a talented young nail designer. For the last five years she was trained in the best schools by the best nail designers from Europe and the States. She had a career in nail designing in her home country and now it is time to show the best in Ireland.”
African Sun offers a wide range of services and beauty products. They are now focusing on the 2010 wedding season, following a successful year of working with brides, offering not only beautiful nails but also professional make up, and all types of styling.
