Rachel McNamara from Westmeath has won the chance to attend the Vhi GAA Cúl Day Out in the world famous Croke Park stadium on Monday September 28.
Vhi GAA Cúl Day Out is a very special event that will see 288 children realise their dreams and train and play a match in the world-famous stadium. GAA heroes such as Anthony Daly and Colm O’Rourke, as well as other hurling, football, camogie and handball players from senior teams around the country will be working with the children on the day to help them develop their skills and reinforce their passion for the game.
Speaking at the announcement of the winners, Declan Moran, director of marketing and business development, Vhi Healthcare, said: “I’d like to congratulate Rachel today for being successful in this year’s competition and winning the opportunity to play in Croke Park on Monday September 28. This event is the final event of this year’s extremely successful Vhi GAA Cúl Camps which took place throughout the country this summer. Over 80,000 children participated in the events and 288 of those children now have the chance to participate in the Vhi GAA Cúl Day Out at Croke Park. We anticipate that it will be a real celebration for the children and players involved.

On the Vhi GAA Cúl Day Out children will meet with and be coached by their GAA heroes, they will play a match in Croke Park, they will have an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Croke Park stadium and museum, plus they will get a goodie bag to take home.
