Freshers week 2009/10 was in full swing in the college this week.
On Monday one of the most successful clubs and societies days the college has ever seen took place, with a diverse range of clubs and societies including the Anachronism Society, the Christian Union, the Athlone Film Club, Gaelic Football, Camogie, Tennis, Dodgeball and many, many more.
Tuesday saw the inaugural Whacky Olympics take place, along with live broadcasts at the campus from the i105/107 radio station. Bernard and Keith entertained the students for the morning along with a guest interview from AIT’s very own chaplain Fr Shay!
Wednesday welcomed Bluemoose, who never disappoint the crowd, while Thursday saw the popular Kilkennys take to the stage again in Scribes.
