Paul Brady looks forward to Roscommon Castle gig

With Roscommon Castle listed as the last Irish venue for Paul Brady’s current ‘Travellin Light’ tour, the legendary singer/songwriter is looking forward to playing at this intimate location.

“It’s been some years since I’ve toured the real Ireland outside the main cities. In the past decade many new venues have sprung up all over the country and I’m looking forward to playing some of them for the first time,” he says. Indeed the intimate surrounds of Roscommon Castle, agaist the backdrop of Loughnaneane Park, will provide a perfect venue to experience Paul Brady at his very best.

Paul is currently putting the finishing touches to a new album. According to Paul, “Recording and mixing is basically finished and I'm now thinking about the artwork and text, not to mention how and when I'm going to release it. The latest working title for the album is Rainbow. It is the title of one of the songs, yes, but also a fair representation of the wide variety of music on this record, probably the broadest scope of any I've ever made.”

Over the years, Paul’s intimate shows have thrilled audiences worldwide. Many fans feel that being in the company of the solo Brady on stage is the best way to experience his music. In order to whet the appetitie of concertgoers Paul adds, “In my upcoming dates, I will be performing on guitar and piano for around 90 minutes so you can expect to hear a bunch of new songs from my upcoming record plus most of your favourites from the past.”
