With only a couple of weeks left before the Nuts About Charity annual fancy dress cycle takes place on Sunday July 19, the committee is calling on the people of Athlone to support this worthy fundraising event. Any contribution, large or small, from individuals or businesses will be greatly appreciated.
Pick up a sponsorship card and enjoy dressing up for the cycle. You’ll have a fun day out and raise money for Athlone Wheelchair Association, Athlone Rape Crisis Centre, St Hilda’s, and Athlone Chernobyl Project at the same time!
There’s no excuse if you don’t have a bicycle, as Dermot Brennan of DB Cycles, Magazine Road has offered to give a discount rate to participants renting bicycles for the event and he will also donate money to the fundraiser.
