The Drum/Clonown Under 13 chess team who will represent the parish at the National Community Games on Sunday

The parish of Drum/Clonown will be proudly represented in the City North Hotel Dublin on Sunday when the Under 13 chess team competes for honours at the national community games.

The team, comprising Nikodem Zamiar (Captain ), Adhiraj Bhushan, Cormac Gallagher, Fionn Fallon, Aaron Sheehy and Eleanor Neary, will strive to achieve medal status as the ‘fly the flag’ for County Roscommon and Connacht.

Best wishes are extended to the team and to their coaches Paul Coughlan and Niall Gallagher who have expertly guided the players to this stage of the renowned competition.
