Westmeath County Council is calling on applicants for the last number of homes remaining at Gort an Locha Moate under the Affordable Purchase Scheme.
This is a small development, consisting of 22 properties with five homes remaining available under the Affordable Purchase Scheme. These homes are all three-bedroom properties, built, ready and waiting for their new owners.
These homes are being made available for sale under the Affordable Dwelling Purchase Arrangements in accordance with the Affordable Legislation. The properties are open to First Time Buyers or those who qualify under the ‘Fresh Start Principle’.
Applications will be assessed in line with the Westmeath County Council Scheme of Priority for Affordable Dwelling Purchase Arrangements.
The online application system re-opened on Monday of this week and it is recommended that interested purchasers familiarise themselves with the application process and required documentation, in particular a copy of your Mortgage Approval in Principle before they make a formal application.
A deposit of 10% of the purchase price of the property will be required.
