Athlone Town AFC, in partnership with Valeo Futbol and Caribbean Premier Showcase, proudly announces the Valeo Athlone College Soccer Showcase and ID Camp, set to take place at the Athlone Town Stadium on May 25 and 26, from 9am to 4pm.
This groundbreaking event aims to provide Irish student-athletes with unprecedented access to collegiate soccer opportunities in the United States.
The Valeo Athlone Town College Soccer Showcase and ID Camp is a testament to the collaborative efforts of Athlone Town AFC, Valeo Futbol, and Caribbean Premier Showcase, combining their expertise and resources to create a platform where talent meets opportunity. With 20 colleges and coaches from America participating in the event, promising Irish soccer players will have the chance to showcase their skills directly to scouts and coaches from renowned American universities.

Additionally, informational sessions will be conducted to guide student-athletes and their families through the recruitment process, offering insights into academic requirements, scholarship opportunities, and life as a student-athlete in the United States.
