Athlone Castle will celebrate the Easter holiday with an exciting and fun-filled onsite family event taking place on Saturday, March 30.
During this fun packed day, young visitors are invited to take part in an Easter Trail through Athlone Castle Visitor Centre where they will learn fun facts about Irish Easter customs and traditions.
Along the trail, the young ‘eggsplorers’ will find a colouring station where they will get to design their very own egg, as well as several other Easter-related activities including face painting.
Each child that completes the trail will have an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny in person, take a photo with this very special visitor, and receive their ‘eggciting’ Easter surprise!
This event is suitable for children aged four and over. Pre-booking is advised for this Easter event as there will be limited spaces available.
