Esker House Women’s Refuge and Support Service will host a celebration to mark International Women’s Day on March 8.
“We invite you to join us for an afternoon full of appreciation for women and our contribution to society.
“Featuring inspirational speakers discussing numerous topics - the trials and tribulations of running your own business; addressing matters relating to health, hormones and nutrition; curating spaces in your home that add joy and functionality and emerging from an abusive relationship to creating a sisterhood of support and lifesaving support programme, this is an occasion not to be missed.
“We will welcome you with a punch reception, followed by a two course lunch, as you share the space with like-minded women in a supportive, enjoyable and engaging setting, a few goodies also on offer to those in attendance the day!
“Perhaps you could treat the women in our life, organisation, circle or family to this nourishing day. We will be also launching our new website, our new freephone helpline number and our community safe spaces campaign during this celebration.
“Your support, as always, is much appreciated,” Ms Deirdre Berry, Head of Services, Esker House Domestic Abuse Support Service, stated.
