Semple Stadium Thurles to be awash in green and red as St Brigids contest semi-final

Green and red colour will dot the Semple Stadium landscape en masse on Sunday afternoon as St Brigids journey to Thurles to play Castlehaven in the AIB All-Ireland senior club championship football semi-final (throw-in, 1.45pm ).

Having achieved the ultimate club success in 2013, St Brigids will be hoping to replicate such a moment in 2024, reigning Cork and Munster champions, Castlehaven, certain to provide a stern test of the Kiltoom club's All-Ireland aspirations.

Having defeated Corofin in the Connacht final, Jerome Stack's charges are confidence fuelled and will hold no fear of their semi-final opposition when the ball throws in at Semple Stadium.

In Ben O'Carroll St Brigids have an ace marksman, his performances en route to the All-Ireland semi-final enhancing his status in the game. Carroll has been ably supported by a cohesive team ethic which has realised this tantalising weekend fixture in Thurles and an opportunity to claim a prized place in the All-Ireland final in Croke Park on Sunday, January 21.

For those supporters unable to attend the semi-final contest in Thurles, the game will be televised live by TG4.
