Caulry GAA have confirmed the appointment of Pat Flanagan as the club's senior football manager.
Flanagan succeeds former Roscommon custodian, Shane Curran, who served three seasons in the role, his time coming to a conclusion withe the Mount Temple/Baylin club following their exit from this year's senior football championship at the semi-final stage.
Formerly at the managerial helm with Westmeath and Offaly, Flanagan will be hoping to advance Caulry's claims for the Flanagan Cup, the club competing in their first semi-final fixture in 77 years this championship campaign.
Flanagan is well known in South Roscommon GAA circles, his stint as Padraig Pearses senior football manager realising prized championship silverware in 2019, the achievement replicated in 2021 as the Woodmount based club progressed to claim the Connacht club crown.
Most recently, Flanagan managed Kildare club Sarsfields but his term concluded with the Newbridge club after one season.
