Fine Gael’s Cllr John Naughten has this week called for repairs to be carried out as a matter of urgency on the traffic lights at St Coman’s Park and Oakdale in Monksland.
“I have been contacted by a number of residents in these estates in relation to the traffic lights on the pedestrian crossing at this location which are currently out of order,” explained Cllr Naughten.
“I have written to the area engineer raising the problem and requesting that the problem be resolved urgently as it is currently a hazard to both pedestrians and road users.”
