The Win A Home In Oranmore team officially launched their fundraiser at Carraig Lair Shopping Centre in Oranmore on Friday, October 27, in support of Maree Oranmore Football Club.
The event was attended by many special guests who were eager to show their support and the iRadio team joined them onsite to broadcast the occasion live on air.
Event attendees relished a feast of fun activities and entertainment - everything from light refreshments, balloons and face-painting with Nancy The Clown, a musical workshop with Galway’s Drumadore, a special visit from Galway Untied FC stars, as well as a Halloween Fancy Dress competition for the kids.

Fundraiser Proceeds
When you enter this draw, you are supporting Maree Oranmore Football Club, a not-for-profit soccer club, founded in 1989. With more than 900 active members at present, the fundraiser proceeds will support the construction of recently approved all-weather, floodlit nine-a-side and five-a-side pitches. Adjacent to the proposed facility lies Maree National School, which will enjoy complimentary access to these facilities. The club holds a genuine commitment to making these pitches available to all members of the local community.
In addition, €5 from every ticket sold will be donated to A LUST FOR LIFE; a multi-award winning Irish mental health charity based in Ireland that guides young people to be effective guardians of their own mind and to be the leaders that drive our society towards a better future.
