Congratulations are afforded to the Marist College Junior Cycle class of 2023 who received their State examination results recently.

The hard work and dedication of our students was reflected in the outstanding results awarded.

Senior Debating Event

The school’s senior debating team hosted Our Lady’s Bower to debate the motion ‘This House would like to ban smartphones for all U18s’.

Following an energetic debate, the motion was opposed. Well done to Eoin Kane and Donál McDermott who were selected as best speakers. We look forward to the next round of debates in November. A special word of thanks to the two adjudicators, Mr Jordan and retired Marist teacher, Mr Kinahan.

Woodturning Club

Mr Kearney’s Woodturning Club is in full swing, with the club being held every Tuesday evening after school. Open to all Marist students, it’s an opportunity to learn a new skill and become creative. We look forward to seeing some artistic creations.

Road Safety Awareness Workshops

The school’s first, TY and sixth year students took part in Road Safety Awareness Workshops recently. It was an important and informative event for our students and we thank the RSA for facilitating this event.
