Saturday October 21 is National Harp Day - Lá na Cruite 2023 - a day to celebrate our national emblem, the harp.
Ballinasloe Town Band Hall will welcome a free harp afternoon from 3pm where you will hear about the Irish harp, harp music and more. You will meet County Galway harpbuilder, Brian Callan from Craughwell, and hear harp music by Blossom Harp Ensemble directed by Lizzie Affolter, and by Music Generation Roscommon harpists and musicians.
This event is held with the help of Harp Ireland Cruit Eireann and the Town Band Hall crew. Admission is free.
