Recruitment events for those interested in roles with the Defence Forces and An Post will take place in Athlone this week.
The An Post recruitment fair is being hosted today, Thursday, October 12, from 10am to 1pm, while a Defence Forces recruitment event will take place tomorrow, Friday, October 13, from 10am to 12 noon. Both recruitment events will be hosted in Athlone Training Centre Garrycastle.
The An Post event is designed to recruit jobseekers interested in seasonal work at the Athlone Mail Centre, situated on the Dublin Road in Athlone Business Park.
The Defence Forces event is “an information session to advise you of the career opportunities available to you when you join the Army”.
The two local recruitment fairs are part of a series of 35 Intreo Work and Skills events taking place across the country until October 19.
