Athlone based supplier Reilly Mushrooms were awarded the coveted ‘Packaging Innovation Supplier of the Year’ at the recently hosted Lidl Sustainability Summit 2023.
A family-owned mushroom business located in Walderstown, Reilly Mushrooms were recognised for innovating their packaging to be recyclable, containing recycled plastic and reducing plastic weight.
Reilly Mushrooms were one of more than 100 of Lidl’s suppliers who attended its annual Sustainability Summit in the retailer’s Dublin Head Office last week, where Lidl held educational sessions delivered by industry experts on critical upcoming sustainability topics in order to support its supplier network on their sustainability journey.
