Rock out at Danny’s tonight

If you’re looking for some good music tonight, but you’re not too sure where to go, get yourself to Danny Byrne’s, Mullingar where Ever27, Zombie Cops and Hitman Lord are sure to entertain.

When four talented and determined Midland musicians met up last year, and found they shared common musical ideas, and a common musical vision, it was inevitable - they just had to play together.

Now, as Ever27, they offer something new and fresh, adding a new layer to the rich seam of musical talent that has recently been uncovered in the Midlands!

The line up is Brendan McEvoy, Eoin Fitzsimons, Tanya O’Callaghan and Paul Feery.

McEvoy, formerly front man with Mesner, a well-established name in the industry both at home and overseas, has a unique born-to-rock voice, and his amazing song-writing ability gives him that extra edge, which Ever27 ably exploit, recognising it as something crucial they needed to stand out from the crowd and gain recognition from the main music industry players.

Eoin Fitzsimons (aka Pony ) on drums, whose powerful style gives the band their tenacious backline creates an energetic driving force within their music.

The rhythm section is topped off by Tanya O’Callaghan on bass, whose sheer levels of energy find expression through her rhythmic and dynamic style, strengthening their overall feel and sound.

Lead guitarist Paul Feery can be described as a perfectionist when it comes to his music. As a guitarist he is noticeably influenced by many of the greats. Every part of his playing is full of passion which can be heard solidly throughout Ever27’s songs.

Ever27’s coming together has created a unique and fresh style that oozes with passion, energy and an uplifting feeling.

Armed with determination and united in vision and ambition, Ever27 promise to take their rightful place among musical peers and become an internationally recognized band.

Zombie Cops are a Dublin based alternative rock pop band. Made up of four hard-working, smart-talking musicians, Jamie Hughes, Kevin Fagan, Nelius Phelan, and Mullingar man Dylan O'Neill. They have been playing, writing, and rehearsing together since the start of 2008.

They bond together like a classic four-piece rock band. Made up of two guitars, drum, and bass and with the advantage of having two lead singers means lots of harmonies and plenty of variation. The guys have been playing in various projects for an average of 10 years, bringing plenty of experience and 'old heads on young shoulders' mentality.

They have just finished recording their radio release ‘Win Some Lose Some’ which is due out late September, and are due to record a second single at the end of June. With no shortage of songs, an EP is planned for release early 2010. Keep an eye on the Zombie Cops myspace for tour updates for their launch in September

Zombie Cops are on the rise.
