PJ Finnerty from Brideswell was announced as winner of the ‘Lamb Producer’ category at the Sustainable Farmer Awards which took place at the recently hosted Tullamore Show.
Minister Charlie McConalogue presented the awards, which honour top performing sustainable beef and sheep farmers.
The awards are the result of a partnership between the FBD National Livestock Show, Bord Bia, Teagasc and the Irish Farmers Journal.
