Embrace The Ennio Morricone Experience with a live Tuar Ard date in October

An early date for your autumn season social diary as a six piece orchestral ensemble will grace the Tuar Ard Arts Centre stage in Moate on October 21, the sextet uniting to entertain the auditorium with The Ennio Morricone Experience.

This recital highlights Morricone’s masterpieces and brings the listener on a wonderful journey in celebration of the Maestro’s great contribution to Italian and International music and to the world of film. The show will feature music from movies such as The Mission, Once Upon a Time in the West, A Fistful of Dollars and Once Upon a Time in America, as well as some of Morricone’s lesser-known works to delight and inspire audiences. The group will also perform compositions by the musicians who inspired Morricone and his contemporary composer such as Rota and Piovani.

The sextet comprise Musical Director, Annalisa Monticelli (piano and arrangements ); violin and arrangements, Francesca De Nardi; cello, Davide Forte; soprano, Katy Kelly; baritone, Morgan Crowley/Owen Gilhooley; and viola, Anne Marie McGahon.
