As the heavy rain began to fall for the second half Tubberclair started brightly quickly and soon were in the ascendancy as the contest progressed. ON his return to the playing fray from injury, Matthew Whittaker raised a white flag and complemented with further points from McCabe, O’Meara, Kelleher and Delaney, Tubberclair ensured victory, a result which sees last year’s defeated finalists head Section A of the intermediate championship with two games played.
