Athlone Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with sponsors, RBK Chartered Accountants and TUS, will host a ‘Pre-Budget Business Breakfast’, a high-profile event featuring a panel of experts, including Deputy Michael McGrath, Minister for Finance and economist, John Finn, to be moderated by the Business Editor of the Business Post, Lorcan Allen.
Taking place on June 28 in the Athlone Springs Hotel at 7.30am, this event will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain valuable insights into the Government’s plans for Budget 2024 and engage in meaningful discussions on key financial matters.
Distinguished speakers at the event will also include Chamber President Alan Shaw, Alison Sheridan of TUS John Finn of Treasury Solutions, Jackie Masterson of RBK and moderator Lorcan Allen. Their expertise will provide attendees with comprehensive insights into various aspects of the business environment, allowing for a well-rounded discussion on the challenges and opportunities faced by local enterprises.
The event format will comprise a panel discussion ahead of the publication of the Summer Economic Statement and will be followed by an engaging question-and-answer session, providing attendees with a platform to address their concerns directly to the speakers. This interactive format ensures a dynamic and informative dialogue, fostering a deeper understanding of the budgetary and economic landscape.
The Pre-Budget Business Breakfast will be open to both in-person and online attendees. However, due to limited seating capacity and high interest, registration is essential to secure a spot at the event. Athlone Chamber of Commerce urges all interested parties to register promptly to guarantee participation either in person or virtually.
“The Pre-Budget Business Breakfast is set to be an exceptional event, bringing together influential business leaders and policymakers to shape the future of our region’s economy.
