To celebrate 25 years in business, Derryglad Folk and Heritage Museum will host a special fundraising day on Sunday, June 18, in aid of Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.

During the fundraising occasion, the award-winning museum, located in Curraghboy, will offer visitors the opportunity to explore a collection of over 8,000 artefacts depicting times past in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

There will be plenty of cultural entertainment throughout the day with sean-nós dancing, music and storytelling, all complemented by an old style country butter making demonstration.

All members of the public are invited to attend, the fundraising occasion commencing at 3pm.
