Athlone Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its annual golf event at the immaculately presented Athlone Golf Club on the shores of Lough Ree.
The event brought together golf enthusiasts from across the region for a day filled with camaraderie, friendly competition and networking.
A total of 15 teams competed in an exceptional display of sportsmanship and skill, as participants competed to claim the coveted prizes. MMKDA were the eventual winners with RBK Accountants placing second and Midland Print finishing in third place.
Athlone Chamber of Commerce extends its sincerest thanks to the competition’s main sponsors Viking Tours and Progolf, as well as their many generous tee sponsors without whom the event could not take place.
“Athlone Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a genuine thank you to all the sponsors, participants, office staff and Athlone Golf Club for their invaluable contributions to this annual networking event,” Athlone Chamber of Commerce President, Alan Shaw, stated.
His thoughts were echoed by Chamber of Commerce CEO, Tommy Hogan.
