Athlone Castle Visitor Centre celebrated the Easter holiday weekend with a number of exciting and fun filled onsite family events.
During this fun packed day, young visitors participated in an Easter trail through Athlone Castle Visitor Centre where they learned fun facts about Irish Easter customs and traditions.
Along the trail, the young ‘eggsplorers’ located a colouring station where they had the opportunity to design their very own egg as well as several other Easter related activities. Each child that completed the trail, met with the Easter Bunny in person and availed of the opportunity to have a photograph taken with this very special visitor and receive their ‘eggciting’ Easter surprise!
