Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa has been named Gold Medal winner in the ‘Four Star Hotel Spa Experience 2022’ category at the recently hosted Gold Medal awards ceremony.
Now in their 34th year, the Gold Medal awards are the leading independent awards for the Irish hospitality industry and aim to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the hotel and catering sector throughout the country over the past twelve months.
The awards were hosted by the Galmont Hotel in Galway on Tuesday, January 31, and announced Gold, Silver and Bronze winners in all categories.
Showing that Ireland’s reputation for famous hospitality stretches across the country, there was a strong regional spread amongst the winners.
However, Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa scooped three awards on the night - Gold for Ireland’s Four Star Hotel Spa Experience; Silver in Ireland’s Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant and Bronze in Ireland’s Four-Star Hotel Category
“We are thrilled to receive the Gold Medal accolade and to have received Silver and Bronze awards in a number of categories. The awards are a result of an incredible amount of dedication and commitment from all our teams across the hotel with a special mention for our Spa Manager, Rachael Dougal and her team,” Andrew McGovern, General Manager, stated, following the awards ceremony.
