Bereaved parents across the Midlands region are reminded that the forthcoming meeting of the support charity, Anam Cara, takes place next week in the Mullingar Park Hotel on Wednesday next, February 8, at 7.15pm.
All bereaved parents from the Midlands region,regardless of the age of the child or the circumstances of death are welcome to attend this meeting which is free of charge.
Registration is not required to attend the meeting, but bereaved parents who have any questions are welcome to contact Anam Cara on 085 2888888 or via email [email protected] in advance of their attendance at next Wednesday night’s meeting.
During Covid-19 restrictions, Anam Cara made the decision to reconfigure their support groups and deliver their services online, and they are delighted that they remain in a position to continue to offer their services to bereaved parents both online and in face-to-face meetings.
In 2023, Anam Cara plan to continue offering their full suite of services and they commence their fundraising efforts this year with ‘Miles That Matter’, 280,000 miles in 28 days. Whether it is a sunrise walk, a lunchtime run or a sunset jog, they want their supporters in the Midlands region to make every mile matter this February and raise vital funds for their services.
