The ‘current business climate’ has been cited as the reason for a local restaurant to cease trading with immediate effect.
The Cornloft Restaurant in The Mill Bar, Bealnamulla, closed its doors for service this week, the news being revealed in a statement posted by the business on Facebook.
‘Unfortunately due to the current climate I have had to make the difficult decision to close the restaurant. Like many other businesses, the Cornloft is not financially viable in this climate.
‘It has been my second home for the last three years and although we are very sad to say goodbye, our hearts are filled with love and the best memories.

With a heavy heart we opened for the last time on Sunday, January 8. A massive thank you to all our customers, staff, suppliers, friends and family for support.’
