CIPD Midlands region host first in new programme of networking events at the Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone

On Monday, November 28, CIPD Midlands region launched their 2022/23 programme of events, hosting their first in person event in over two years at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone.

The event was entitled ‘Sustainable leadership in times of change’ and included guest speakers, Tom O’Connor, Performance and Leadership Consultant, Wellbeing Lead, Executive Coach and Lecturer in DBS on Dynamic Leadership Development, together with Helen Dowling, Physiotherapist and Mindfulness teacher.

The event brought together two experts who shared their academic research, experience and insights in the area of Leadership, Mindfulness, Neuroscience and Positive Psychology.

Attended by HR practitioners and business leaders within the region together with students currently undertaking CIPD accredited courses at TUS, Athlone, the evening proved to be very informative, interactive and a great networking opportunity for all.

The next CIPD Midlands in person event is an employment law update kindly sponsored by Collins McNicholas Recruitment & HR Services Group, scheduled for the morning of January 19 2023 at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel.
