The Tubberclair Under 9 playing group participated in a series of blitzes recently.
Firstly, the group welcomed Caulry to a floodlit Tubberclair. Both clubs had two teams each on the night and played out great exciting games on a lovely autumn evening.
Next up, the groups travelled to Athlone GAA to take part in the final round of the Go Games series, the club fielding two teams on the evening who gave their best against strong opposition.
The group’s final game for the season was played against Maryland Tang in Tubberclair. Once again, the players and coaches were blessed with fine weather which made for very entertaining football under lights by very enthusiastic teams.
Tubberclair GAA wishes to thank all players for their commitment and hard work throughout the year. It has been an enjoyable year with progress made by each player within the group.
