DPD Ireland, with a centralised parcel hub in Athlone, and Willow Park FC are delighted to announce the renewal of their partnership agreement, the renowned courier company continuing to be the Athlone club’s main sponsor for a second three-year term.
The agreement, which comes as Willow Park celebrates 50 years in football, includes the naming of the club’s grounds at Kilmacuagh, Athlone, as DPD Park.
“We would like to congratulate Willow Park FC on their 50th anniversary. DPD is Ireland’s largest dedicated parcel delivery company, we and our families are embedded in the community. We are proud to extend our support of Willow Park FC.
“Both DPD and Willow Park FC continue to go from strength to strength and we look forward to being involved in the journey,” Des Travers, CEO of DPD Ireland, said.
“It is the perfect partnership and our club is delighted to be associated with a company of this stature, a market-leading organisation that is at the top of its game,” Willow Park FC chairman Declan Holohan, said.
