The Covid-19 vaccination centre in Moate reopened on Monday of this week following its June closure.
As winter season fast approaches and with the HSE issuing calls for members of the local public to avail of protection against the virus, a clinic will be in session this Sunday, October 16, at which booster vaccinations will be available to those aged from 12 to 29 years of age (9.30am-10.30am ) and to those aged 30 years and above from 10.30am to 5pm.
Moate Community Centre previously served as the location for the roll-out the HSE’s vaccination programme in Westmeath, with almost 160,000 doses administered before it closed its doors last June.
It’s believed the current lease of the community centre, adjacent to Tuar Ard, will run until February of next year.
