Architect, TV star and now DS Automobiles ambassador

DS Automobiles Ireland has announced award-winning architect Hugh Wallace as its new brand ambassador.

Wallace is a founding director of the architect firm Douglas Wallace, a member of the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland, past president of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and a well-known TV personality.

Since starting his company in 1982, Wallace has guided its growth to become one of Ireland’s leading architecture and design firms. Wallace is also a judge on RTE’s Home of the Year, and the presenter of the broadcaster’s Great House Revival.

Wallace joins the DS Automobiles team at an exciting time for the brand, having launched last year in the Republic of Ireland with a range of premium vehicles.

As a brand ambassador, Wallace’s choice of motor is the new DS 4 E-Tense PHEV in Velvet Red, a model voted by Festival Automobile International jury as the Most Beautiful Car of 2022.

Speaking of the new partnership with Hugh Wallace, DS Automobiles Ireland marketing manager, Jana Solovjova, says Wallace's reputation in the architecture world and passion for finer details, is perfectly aligned with our target audience.

"Exceptional design and appreciation of using premium, well-crafted materials are areas where we see real parallels with our own brand values.

“DS Automobiles embodies innovative, luxury design, French savoir faire and exceptional know-how. When we marry this up with Hugh’s style, charm and engaging personality, we think he’s a great fit for DS Automobiles. We are very much looking forward to working with him on various projects in the coming months and years.”
