Legends of Irish music and song, The Fureys, have confirmed a tour date at the Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone on Saturday, October 1.
Renowned for their hit songs ‘I will love you’, ‘When you were sweet 16’, ‘The Green fields of France’, ‘The old man’, ‘Red rose café’, ‘From Clare to here’, ‘Her father didn’t like me anyway’, ‘Leaving Nancy’ and ‘Steal away’, to name but a few, the Fureys have been entertaining audiences worldwide for over 40 years and are looking forward to their return to Athlone, where a sold out hotel auditorium certainly awaits.
