Irish Water are currently undertaking works in Athlone for a period of 11 weeks to conclude on Thursday, August 12.
The works are on the sewers to the rear of Athlone Castle along the Quay, the Castle car park closed during this period of works with some disruption to traffic.
The ESB are also undertaking upgrade works between Barrack Street and the Quay, Athlone which may affect traffic in the area and Market Square car park.
In this instance, works should be completed by Friday, June 3.
