Father and son, Frank and JJ McNamara present 'The Apple and The Tree' concert in the Dean Crowe Theatre on Saturday, June 11, at 8pm.
On hearing JJ McNamara play, people always note to his father Frank that 'the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree' – and that is what has inspired this concert – 'The Apple and the Tree' are performing on the same stage.
This concert programme includes Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt peppered with fun stories. Beethoven is often regarded as the father of the rock ‘n’ roll while Chopin and Liszt were huge pop stars in their day.
